Hi everyone,
I’ve been learning Red Hat Enterprise Linux AI: Technical Seller and I’m eager to get hands-on experience by installing and using RHEL AI.
I first tried installing RHEL AI on a Virtual Machine locally, but my system kept freezing and the installation never completed. So, I attempted to run it on the cloud instead, but that required a usage-based payment.
However, I read that RHEL AI is free for learners for 60 days after enrolling in the program. If anyone has successfully set up and used RHEL AI - either locally or through the free cloud access. I'd really appreciate your guidance or suggestions on how to proceed.
Thanks in advance!

@velredhat You can initiate a 60-day free trial of RHEL AI directly through the Red Hat Product Trials Center. This trial grants you a complete RHEL AI subscription, including access to downloads, updates, and the Customer Portal. Upon activation, you'll receive an ISO image, which allows for local installation on bare metal or a virtual machine, or deployment to compatible cloud or on-premise infrastructure.
You have the flexibility to deploy your RHEL AI trial to various cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or IBM Cloud, utilizing your own cloud account without incurring any additional Red Hat usage fees during the active trial period. However, it's important to note that the costs associated with the cloud infrastructure itself—covering CPU, memory, GPU, storage, and network usage—will be billed directly by your cloud provider and are not included as part of the Red Hat trial.

Hi Chetan_Tiwary,
Thank you so much for the detailed response and the helpful links! The resources you shared are incredibly useful.
Unfortunately, I don’t have the required 200GB of local disk space to run RHEL AI on my own system. Given that, I’d like to ask:
Is there a way to access the cloud version of RHEL AI under the same 60-day free trial that applies to the self-supported subscription? Or is that cloud access entirely usage-based, regardless of enrollment in the program?
Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks again for your support.
