Job Scheduling with variables in Survey for Ansible Tower (AWX: 17.0.1 & Ansible: 2.9.17)

while scheduling a job, the AWX UI is not prompting the options mentioned in survey tab. Hence not able to schedule automatic upgrades 

 this worked for previous version of AWX (9). When you added a new schedule, you could launch the survey & enter the values & it would be saved. With 17, we no longer see that option.

Plz suggest !!
