ansible certification exam book
HI,
I am planning to write RHEL ansible exam.
I have few doubt listed below:
I want only individual exam and I am from India
1. exam name is EX407. But when trying to book from redhat its showing EX407k . are those both same ?
2. what are prerequisite to seat for exam ex407/ex407k ? Like any course to attend . As per the discussion that I had with my peers, they say that
purchase book is mandatory as the course material has the application form at the end of the book which we can use as an application for the exam. do we need that ?
When trying to book I do not any such option on redhat portal.
3. so, only 16500 INR + tax is that sufficient to attend the ex407/ex407k exam.
4. when trying to book exam its asking the payment option as "purchase order " or "training unit" . how to proceed with that ?

Hey, @sukant,
Indeed, as @Lisenet says, there are no formal prerequisites to Red Hat exams, that is, you can simply show up and test yourself as much and as often as you want (or can afford). :smileywink:
That being said, you probably want to show up prepared, and for that, the "Objectives" section at the bottom of the Ansible Automation Exam page will be very helpful as it provides you with study points for the exam.
Also, you might want to have a look at the "Audience & Prerequisites" section - these are not, as I said, formal prerequisites, but rather some information about who we imagined this exam is designed for.
As for your booking, you want an individual exam, so EX407K is the SKU you want to purchase. You can initiate the purchase process directly from the exam page above. After you conclude the payment process, give the system a bit of time (an hour or so should be more than enough) and then go to the Individual Exam Scheduler where you can pick the location where you want to take it.
Cheers,
Grega

In case you are still preparing, let's discuss it.

Hi Sukant,
As i know, training is mandatory to book an exam with Red Hat.So You should go for training first ,that will be helpful to you to clear the exam.

@Sitikantha That is incorrect. Attending training is not mandatory to book a Red Hat certification exam.
You are correct that training better prepares one to take certification exams (including non Red Hat exams).

Hi SIr,
We need a voucher for each Red Hat Certification exam .
And that voucher we can only get from Red HAt books.

That is a regional variance that @arun can clarify.
I'm aware of how the voucher is distributed in India but I'm unclear of the conditions, and exceptions.
