Anyone knows what is the best practices to secure OpenStack nodes against Intrusions, Viruses, Spywares, etc. Will deploy the Anti-virus agent on the Red Hat OpenStack node impact the performance since the node OS is Red Hat Enterprise.
You can take a look at the Red Hat OpenStack Platform Security and Hardening Guide included in the product documentation. This guide covers best practices, compliance and security hardening.
However, Red Hat does not suggest or recommend any particular Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware tool at this point.
Thank you for your reply, I have a look on the security and hardening guide but there is nothing specifically mentioned about Node Anti-virus protection.
My assumption since the OpenStack node is running on Red Hat Enterprise OS, then any Red Hat Enterprise Anti-virus certified provider should work fine on the node without any performance issues.
