Cluster domain name

Hi,

I started with an Openshift training, and for this it is required of me to connect to https://api.${CLUSTER_DOMAIN_NAME}:6443

I want to know where can I find the CLUSTER_DOMAIN_NAME - can someone please help me on this?

Thanks, Sasi.

Hi Sasi

Can you clarify what course are you running?

Usually, when we use this kind of shell variables we include a step to set-up this variable, or instruct the student to create it with certain values.

Can you verify the previous steps? Maybe it is specified there.

Kind Regards

Hi Jordi,

Thanks for the reply, I'm following the Elab "Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4 Resources and Tools" within the course "Red Hat Delivery Specialist - Container Platform Deployment (OCP 4)".

I just finished a little more digging and I found that the cluster name to be used for the oc client is https://api.shared.na.openshift.opentlc.com:6443.

Thanks, Sasi.

Hi, I have the same question...
I am following the same course, and the lab documentation suggests the cluster domain of my cluster is https://api.shared-na4.na4.openshift.opentlc.com:6443 to be used for the oc login.
However this is not working...
I provisioned the Lab environment in the OPENTLC lab portal but in the EMEA region...
So maybe the above URL for the Cluster Domain name should be something else?
It looks there is no variable CLUSTER_DOMAIN_NAME defined in the student_vm??

Thanks for your support,
