What is the best way to control the order in which registries are searched? (Podman search, etc) Is it necessary to edit container-registries.conf?

On my host the file is called registries.conf found at /etc/containers/. AFAIK podman searches for images in the registries listed in the file in the order they appear. Reorder the registry entries in the registries.conf file to change the order.
