I was preparing for EX280 (based on exam v4.10), but now that I've checked the exam contents and objectives have updated considerably and is exam is on version 4.12. Is it still possible to give the exam on v4.10? If so, for how long will that exam remain available?
4.10 is still available but what gets retired is decided on a quarterly basis.
Yes both 4.10 and 4.12 exams are available. You have to select the option while scheduling the exam. How long v4.10 would be available don't know but while scheduling I could see option for v4.6 as well. That was around 4/5 days back.
Hello @madhatter !
Thanks for reaching out!
While scheduling the exam you will have an option to schedule the available exam version ( v4.10 is there ).
v4.10 will be available for this year AFAIK. You can reach out to the support team for a word on this : https://www.redhat.com/rhtapps/services/comments/
hello Chetan_Tiwary, I am wondering the v4.12 will use deployment or deployment config in the exam? The DO280 training course only covers deployment, but the exam v4.10 use deployment config, which can be big difference in some cases/tasks. I would like Red Hat to clarify this, thanks!
Hello @Dadaniao1 !
Thanks for reaching out !
I do not have any idea on v4.12 exam environment or the exam scenarios. You can reach out to exam support team here with your query : https://www.redhat.com/rhtapps/services/comments/
They can help you with the same.
I have asked the certification team the question as to how long the 4.10 exam will be available. I honestly don't expect an answer.
4.10 is still available but what gets retired is decided on a quarterly basis.
