Does machine config operator support managing RHEL?

In OCP4.5, the machine config operator is managing RHCOS workers.  But my question is, if the worker is RHEL, 

Does machine config operator support managing RHEL?

and can the TUNED resource support RHEL?

AFAIK these operators do not manage RHEL workers and support for RHEL workers is about to be deprecated so all you OpenShift 4 nodes will have to be RH CoreOS nodes.

And JFYI the RHEL workers had to he RHEL7, RHEL8 workers were never supported in any way. But RH CoreOS is RHEL8: same kernel, same packages, just deployed and managed in a different way.
