Hi Jiri,

Currently we are targeting sometime this Fall for releasing the exam.  In order to support an exam we are reliant on certain features of OpenShift Container Platform that will not be available until an upcoming release.

Kind regards,

Henry Maine

 Hi,

Any updates on the exam? Will it be based on 4.1, 4.2 or a later version?

Thanks,

Pushpam

@pushpamsaxena I guess the roadmap is still the same, the exam will be out later this year, maybe slipping into 2020. It will probably be based on 4.2, which will be GA in October.

What happened to 3.11?  Are we skipping that?

I was preparing for the exam mostly on 3.11 (and on the classroom's 3.9), there are very subtle differences in the commands, but probably it was not enough to change the whole exam (especially now when 4.2 is out).

All in all, I think you can prepare on 3.11 without any problem.

Still, if you want the exact v3.11 on the exam, there's EX425 out there for you. ;)

We ran the first pilot of EX280 on OCP v4.2 last week and will probably be releasing the exam in the next few weeks.
