EX280 Pod scheduling

Hello Dears,
just preparing for my ex280 exam and i searched the channel and googled for any tips and I keep seeing the topic taint and toleration which I studied it very well, in case I came to a situation where I have to deal with that during the exam, what would be the best approach to handle that ?!

Are we allowed to simply untain the nodes or do we really have to apply toleration to all pods, or shouldn't the approach make any difference in the grading?!

Thanks

The exam usually follow realistic situations, so do not expect to untaint control-plane nodes, and if you need to untaint worker nodes, make sure that is actually the intent, think simple "KISS" keep it simple and smart ;-)

also scheduling is not just taints, there are selectors, labels, among other things, start always with the basics and don't panic, and don't complicate things. wish you the best

Thanks Walid for opinion :)
For sure no intent to untaint the control plane i meant here the workers ;)

What I mean is if you find a taint/toleration that does not make sense, you should know what to do. Also, on the subject of taints, check out that realistic solution Critical DaemonSets Missing Universal Toleration

Instead of untainting worker nodes, can we add tolerations on deployment?

I always thought CP or Worker nodes should NOT be touched(at least for the exam). Only mess with resources. Not sure how to approach to this ??!!

I have the same question. How should we know which option is correct? Instructions can be very unclear so I am really concerned.

In exams, always work on resources, never touch the nodes. I learnt it the hard way...
