I filled 2 times on EX380 yesterday and last month the strange thing is that my score is the same. However, my answer changed and was able to fix alot of stuff on yesterday exam and was sure that final application was working as expected on each question. I have a real concern on the grading script for this exam as it is also new exam just 4 month ago and there is no many people attended the same. Is there any chance to Red Hat team to do reevaluate the same manual any one has such experience to share as frankly speaking I have nothing to do more. Every thing was working as expected and if I did another retry I will add nothing!

Hello, I received a dm asking me to give some tips. I can’t talk about the exam. But I will give some general tips how I learned with the course DO380 and the provided lab.
Some general things:
- Read the EX380 exam objectives and try to match these to the Course DO380. Everything which isn’t covered by the course you have to lookup in different courses like DO180, DO280 or in the official documentation. https://www.redhat.com/en/services/training/ex380-certified-specialist-openshift-automation-exam
- Read the references on each page and familiarize yourself with the official product documentation for all objectives. https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/openshift_container_platform/4.10
- Use copy and paste! You will make typos if you do it manually no matter how good you are. https://learn.redhat.com/t5/Red-Hat-Learning-Subscription/Is-it-possible-to-make-copy-paste-in-the-r...
- https://www.redhat.com/sysadmin/first-remote-certification > Actual exam. Read the provided infrormation carefully. Read the entire description of the task before you start typing, and think about the task and the keywords they use for a minute or two.
DO380
- The course does not have a “Comprehenisve Review” like D0280 or other courses. Challenge yourself with some complex tasks that combine multiple objectives.
- The lab scripts prepare every exercise. Take a look at every resource they provide. Modify the provided resources to test different scenarios, provoke errors to learn/check events and logs, or challenge yourself and redo the same exercise from scratch. You can recreate the entire lab if something breaks (I had to do this several times)
- Familiarize yourself with the OpenShift UI. Almost everything can be done from command line or UI. Sometimes the UI contains examples of specific resources, or you can copy and paste existing resources to create a new resource. Some tasks I can do much faster in the UI than via command line with multiple commands and yaml resources.

Same here. I'm sure I did right all tasks and checked one by one. But got 0 in many sections.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. We don't actively monitor this channel, as it's not supposed to be used for exam discussions. If you want to know more, you can open a ticket on https://rhtapps.redhat.com/comments/
However, I will say something about getting the same score, as they aren't exam specific.
Let us say that you have an exam with 10 questions. You take an exam, and score full score on 1,2,3,4,5,6. You get 60%. So you take the exam again. You now score correct on 1,2, 5, 6, 8, 9. you get 60% again. 8 and 3 are about the same topic, so when you look at the topic score, you get 50% in both exams. This happens often.
As for the exam scripts, I cannot say anything conclusive, because I haven't looked at them myself, but I know they have been through a review. By opening a ticket as described above, we can send the requests to the developers, who can take a second look. For this exam, though, a request needs to be sent in quickly, as we don't retain images for more than 7 days for this exam.
Hope this helps, albeit very late.

Same here and I also got the same scores on both. I'm confident that the three categories that are listed as 0% were working properly, as requested in the exam (and they were 0% in both attempts). I am also worried about this exam grading scripts... Already opened a ticket to review it.

In my opinion, ex380 is buggy. I have also failed the exam 2x. Discussions with the cert team are pointless and a waste of time. I had hoped that I would find answers here in the community, what you could still do to pass ex380, instead I am here unfortunately confirmed that others would also rather look for the problem in the review scripts.

I've failed this exam twice. First attempt was failed by my lack of knowlede. Second attempt was better however also failed. I have feelings that this exam is buggy as well as checking scripts. It's annoying, when you seeing wokring application, or something and results says that you have 0%.
