K8S exams vs Openshift exams

Hi,

I recently passed k8s CKA, CKAD and CKS exams and I'm planing to take Openshift equivalent exams (EX180, EX280, EX288). Can someone give me an advice to complete my RHCA path.

Oh! I already passed EX200, EX294, EX403 and EX447 exams and was focused this year on K8S certifications.

I would recommend that you take all OpenShift courses related to the exams that you wish to take: DO180, DO280, and DO288, or maybe the "combo" courses DO285 (DO180+DO280) and DO295 (DO180+DO288). Though your current skills on Kubernetes are indeed useful and apply to OpenShift, and those Red Hat courses would also teach the same skills, the Red Hat product includes many cluster services over vanilla Kubernetes and many helper features that you'll be required to use in the exams.

Any real, production Kubernetes cluster require vendor extensions to integrate with authentication, storage, networking, and security. That's one reason Red Hat OpenShift includes cluster services over vanilla kubernetes. Other reason is that most production clusters require centralized logging, monitoring, CI/CD, and other tools that are not provided by Kubernetes at all.

The CK{A,AD,S} courses and certifications include some  of these add-on cluster services and tools but they might not the the ones included with OpenShift or supported by Red Hat.

Unfortunately I know of no easy way to find and list the topics tools from CK{A,AD,S} courses that apply or not to OpenShift exams, nor know of a list of "study these after taking the CCNF certifications to earn Red Hat OpenShift certifications". So taking all Red Hat courses -- and of course practing on real OpenShift clusters -- seems to me the easiest and only viable recommendation to give.

In order to earn an RHCA certification, you need to have a currently-valid RHCE, plus 5 of the certifications listed in https://www.redhat.com/en/services/certification/rhca?pfe-isv75mkdo=skills

You seem to have current RHCE plus two valid ones, so you are only 3 away ;-) .  Those could be :
