Hi,
I'm new in containerized. but I just want to ask does microshift had operator hub like openshift?
regards,
Putri
Thanks for the discussion thread and welcome to the world of containers and openshift :).
Operators can be installed in microshift deployments, but not using The Operator Lifecycle Manager (ie OLM). The OLM components that are used to install operators packaged from the standard Operator catalog sources are not included. So, no, you can't directly from OperatorHub in the same way you would as covered in the DO280 course.
Certain operators can be installed on microshift, however. You'll need to use a direct list of manifests instead. SEE https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_build_of_microshift/4.13/html/running_applicat...
My advice would be to to give a simple operator a try. Here is an operator that you might try: https://github.com/openshift/must-gather-operator#deploying-directly-with-manifests
Let us know how it goes!
