I am currently using the ubi8/python-311 image for my Python application, but I'm curious if there are any more minimal or lightweight Docker image options available for Python 3.11 provided by Redhat. My goal is to reduce the image size without sacrificing the necessary functionality for running a Python application.
Are there any official or community-maintained minimal Python 3.11 images that offer a smaller footprint? Alternatively, what best practices or strategies can I apply to minimize the size of the Docker image while ensuring compatibility with Python 3.11?
