It has been observed that the course AD240 has got retired, the course link on EX240 is linked to DO240. But EX240 exam is still based on Red Hat 3scale API Management 2.4. Is there any estimation when the exam for this updated course will become available for scheduling? Estimated time would help to plan and prepare for the exam.
@AykutBulgu @joelbirchler Could you please help with this query or suggest the relevant contact person or team who can confirm. Thanks !

Hi @msaha,
We don't have a definite date for updating the exam just yet.
In the meantime, we have not retired AD240, we have renamed it. You can still take the version 2.4 of the DO240 course by switching the version in ROL:
Hope this helps!

Hi @Marek_Czernek,
The content on the https://www.redhat.com/en/services/training/ex240-red-hat-certified-specialist-api-management-exam page says "Objectives listed for this exam are based on the most recent Red Hat product version available." which I think is v2.11. Also, the course suggested for exam preparation is https://www.redhat.com/en/services/training/do240-cloud-native-api-admin-red-hat-3scale-api-manageme... which is based on Red Hat 3scale API Management 2.11. But still the exam EX240 is based on v2.4. The EXAM TYPE is restricted to Testing Center as shown below and once selected, the available exam is v2.4.
Could you please comment on this discrepancy. Thanks !

Hi @msaha , the exam team still did not update the EX240 exam I'm afraid. That is why we still keep the 2.4 training version.

Hi @Marek_Czernek , is there any expected timeline by which EX240 based on Red Hat 3scale API Management 2.11 would be available ? Till that time the content on the page https://www.redhat.com/en/services/training/ex240-red-hat-certified-specialist-api-management-exam should be update to inform that the EX240 exam is based on version 2.4 to avoid miscommunication. Thanks !

Hi @esthercara,
Currently, looking at the exam website, it seems that the latest version is 2.4. However, take a look at the entitlement that you bought to verify that it is indeed 2.4.
To prepare for the 2.4 version, check my previous comment, you can take the 2.4 version of the training.

Hi,
anyone who has tried it in the meantime, can confirm the scope is the one treated in the 2.4 version of the course? Did you face any particular hurdles?
