mismatch between DO288 4.6 course outline and exam objectives

For DO288/EX288 v 4.6, while creating and managing templates exist as exam objective it does not in course outline. Mismatch!

Work with templates

• Create an OpenShift template
• Use pre-existing templates written in either JSON or YAML format
• Work with multi-container templates
• Add custom parameters to a template

Hi,

Templates are covered in Ch6 section 1. The long term solution is Helm Charts, kutomize and operators for handling multi-container apps. Templates will be gradually deprecated in future releases.

Whatever is listed in the latest exam objectives page is in scope for the exam.

If and when the exam team adds a new topic to the exam, they will update the objectives page. I recommend you go through Ch6 in DO288 plus read the product docs and blogs on developer.redhat.com (about templates) to prep for exam
