NEW COURSE: Red Hat OpenShift Development I: Introduction to Containers with Podman (DO188)

Red Hat Training & Certification is pleased to announce the release of Red Hat OpenShift Development I: Introduction to Containers with Podman (DO188). This course introduces students to building, running, and managing containers with Podman and Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform. Students will build core skills for developing containerized applications through hands-on experience.

For students following the OpenShift Application Developer path, the new DO188 course and Red Hat Certified Specialist in Containers (EX188) certification is the new prerequisite to Red Hat OpenShift Development II: Building Kubernetes Applications (DO288). This path no longer requires a Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification and replaces DO180 in the Developer path. The OpenShift Administration path remains unchanged.

@joelbirchler EX188 is now available, I have a question here though, will this certification counts towards the RHCA infrastructure path as well, since EX288 is counted towards it too.

Does EX180 exam still count towards RHCA? I took it few months ago and it is valid until june 2025.
