Overview

Red Hat Training & Certification is pleased to announce the release of Red Hat Cloud-native Microservices Development with Quarkus (DO378) for OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) 4.6 and Quarkus 1.11. This release includes updated lectures, guided exercises and labs, including enhancements based on training feedback. Additionally, we’ve included new content for authenticating services with Red Hat SSO and gathering metrics from microservices using the Micrometer API.

Enterprises are looking for ways to move away from monolithic applications and take advantage of cloud-native microservice architectures to improve their time to market, scalability, and application reliability. Quarkus is an exciting new technology that brings the reliability, familiarity, and maturity of Java Enterprise with a container-ready, lightning fast deployment time.

Red Hat Cloud-native Microservices Development with Quarkus (DO378) teaches students the architectural principles behind microservice applications as well as how to develop, monitor, test, and deploy modern Quarkus microservices applications on OpenShift.

@joelbirchler This announcement says the updated course (DO378) is based on Quarkus 1.11 whereas the course description on the page https://www.redhat.com/en/services/training/red-hat-cloud-native-microservices-development-quarkus-d... says the course is based on Quarkus 1.7. Same is the observation for the course available on https://rol.redhat.com/rol/app/. Could you please comment on this difference in version of Quarkus.
