Going to take EX188 in a few days. Any tips?

Hi guys,
I am using the DO188 course to prepare for the EX188 exam. I found that in the exam objectives, compose isn't mentioned, however is covered in the course. Is this something that could come up in the exam, even though it is not listed.

Do you guys believe that going through the labs for each section is sufficient to pass the exam? Any more tips?

Thanks!!

In my experience, if you do the labs then you will be able to complete the
exam. You should do the labs a few times in preparation, especially those
labs at the end. In fact I would do those a few extra times in preparation.

good luck

Thank you for the advice. Will defintely keep this in mind. I see in the objectives it talks about configuraton persisting after reboot, like most RHEL exams, but does this expect the containers to start up themselves after reboot too? or just have them present on the system?

Thanks again!!

I asked myself the same question as you! reboot persistence understood as creating a container in detach mode or using systemd? but I believe, in the second case it will be expressly specified. I'll take this exam too soon!

Read the instructions carefully and apply the commands step by step. Focus on the trubleshooting concept, guided exercises and labs are enough to pass the exam.

Hello @kashfay !
Please do the compatibility test with the exam ISO before your actual exam time ( if you are going for the remote exam ) and if you face any issues - you can take help from the exam support team here : https://rhtapps.redhat.com/comments

For the exam - please read the instructions carefully and understand the requirement of each question. The DO188 course and its lab exercises are very well tailored content to help you ace the exam with very good score. Practice those labs in accordance with the EX188 objectives : https://www.redhat.com/en/services/training/ex188-red-hat-certified-specialist-containers-exam?secti...   and you will be good.

All the best !

@RamsagarT  Yes same as I have given to others - follow the course DO188 and its labs - understand the concept , know how to troubleshoot ( like removing and starting containers , creating network, and basic linux skills etc ) and you will be good !

Do read what others have mentioned here as well - those are also helpful.

Always refer the objectives of EX188 and see that your preparation covers all of them : https://www.redhat.com/en/services/training/ex188-red-hat-certified-specialist-containers-exam?secti...
