When creating your lab, under the lab environment tab, the ssh private key & instructions on Step 6. says:
ssh into lab: ssh -i ~/.ssh/rht_classroom.rsa -J cloud-user@<public_ip>:22022 student@172.25.252.1 -p 53009
Replace <public_ip> on the terminal with the ip that will be presented down below when the labs become active, or wait for said ip to appear automatically in the above command.
However, I have refreshed and come back several times, and I have never seen a public IP in this command (always says <public_ip>) or below (no idea where to look below, as nothing below shows an IP) as mentioned.
Where are we supposed to get this public IP in this case?
@ddreggors - if you have an RHLS Standard or Premium subscription, you can also start a live expert chat with one of our course specialists (available 24x5).
@ddreggors You might have seen this banner in the learning portal which says ssh access is under maintenance as of now :
Please wait till further update on this.
I haven't seen that message. Is there an ETA on when it will be back online? The message you shared mentioning maintenance on a data center makes it seem as if that is a short-term (day or two?) issue. However, as of today, it is still not showing up.
