ex280 exam documentation -- APIs docs

So it seems the only documentation we have access to during the OpenShift exams are the documentation found on access.redhat.com (https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/openshift_container_platform/4.12)

But one thing I have noticed on that "access.redhat.com" documentation page, is that the detailed API docs don't appear to be available (or at least I didn't find them), versus what we can find in the docs.openshift.com (for example, https://docs.openshift.com/container-platform/4.12/rest_api/index.html

While it is unlikely we would normally have the time during an exam to dig into these API docs, it could be useful when you are stuck in a pickle with the yaml syntax of a config file.  Does anyone knows why the "access" docs are only a subset of the "docs.openshift.com" docs?  Or I simply didn't manage to find them?

Hello @DRobitaille !

While I have not taken the v4.12 exam - I can tell from my experience that all relevant sections were there for reference for my exam ( I have taken 2 different version exams ) but I am sure not all the content of official docs were there.

For any RH exams - what I know is that only relevant sections of the official docs are provided ( someone can correct me if I am wrong !).

You can raise a query on the same here : https://rhtapps.redhat.com/comments

Hello all,

How about the "search" option being enabled or disabled when using these official documents, during the exam ? A colleague of mine just told me that he was not able to use the seacrh option but had go through all the pages one by one .. is it indeed the case? Is the search option disabled so that I have to remember/know in which section a subject is located?

I just took the 4.14 exam this past monday and there was not a global search function.  That was annoying.  Each of the top domain topic sections are seperated and looked simliar to the top domain topic sections at docs.openshift.com

Well, I have not taken the 4.12 but in my case I used only one time the OCP docs in the whole exam and I knew where to find the information. Therefore I didn't remember exactly about the search feature.

However, I guess that there should be always the possibility to search a topic or a specific page, as it would not make sense otherwise.

Best Regards
