I am working on the labs for v4.14 - when suddenly I notice that everything is very slow (especially on the storage part, where a DV clone literally took 60+ minutes to complete). I say "no problem, I will just delete the environment and recreate it".
Well... this was 9 hours ago, and since then I probably tried deleting and recreating the environment 10 times. Every single time, one of the master nodes (usually master03) ends up in a state of "error", and other nodes are still stuck in "building" after 30+ minutes.
Now I know this is a complex environment, and I am used to it usually taking 15+ minutes to start up. But what I am seeing now does not really look normal.
Is anyone else having similar issues? Is there anything I can do to fix the problem?
I contacted support, and they mentioned that I was unlucky enough to try this during an interval of very high load on the system in my region (EMEA). The problem seems fixed now - I just tried again to provision the lab, and all the components came up successfully.
I had a similar experience with the DO316 lab. At times, the environment would hang and the interface slowed down noticeably. I also struggled with VNC console access for the VMs, where the connection kept dropping every 10 seconds, which made it quite frustrating to work with. Facing such unpredictable issues, even during the exam, adds an extra layer of challenge that you really have to be prepared for.
Thank you - indeed, I have faced similar issues before. And I understand that providing a lab environment for so many students can be challenging.
However, I asked here because the issues suddenly got much worse today. So much worse, in fact, that I was unable to even create the environment from scratch, after multiple attempts.

great work @LuizMalere ! Kudos!
I am also facing the issues with DO-316 Lab. its stuck under build/start status for hoursss. Tried to connect with redhat over given number for India but number is not connecting. and i have a exam next week. This has to be resolved. Can anyone please guide.
@Pushpreet_Singh the best way is to raise a support ticket directly from the platform where you’re taking the course, so the lab engineers can review the issue. I don’t believe phone support is available for lab issues.
There is a "support" link in the platform - check help/support at the top
Thanks @TudorRaduta and @bogd131 for replying.
the thing is i have already rasied support ticket twice but no help. Now as @TudorRaduta mentioned i am in a conversation with the respective institute from where i purchased the exam. seeking their help only
