VM vs VMI chapter 2 slide 2 quiz

My understanding was VMI is with the application and VM is just the software assigned computer system. Is my understanding wrong or the quiz answers are wrong ?

VMI is more about the interaction between VM and the hypervisor, while VM refers to the overall virtualized system. If there's a discrepancy in the quiz answers, it might be due to confusion between these concepts.

I believe the answer in quiz are wrong, unless there is some other explanation which I failed to understand.

@Ravi_Shanker   I agree, it does not seem right!

VM is something like a Deployment ( controller ) resource and a VMI is somethig like a Pod which is actually running.

The Quiz's answer to VM is a general definition of a VM and I think is not perfect when we talk about Openshift virtualization.

I will report this to the course developers to correct or to clarify. Thanks for your post!
