vswitch consideration with VM migration
Hello, i wanted to ask some clarification about the VM migration scenario, let's say from Openstack 16.2 to Openshift. How does it look like from a VM prospective if that VM was using a vswitch which is not supported in openshift (i.e. OVS-DPDK or VPP)? Can the VM still be migrated and will boot after the migration itself or would I need to do some refactoring in the VM before/after the migration?

If you're migrating a VM from OpenStack 16.2 to OpenShift and the VM is using a vswitch that is not supported in OpenShift (such as OVS-DPDK or VPP), you may encounter issues. OpenShift might not support these specific vswitch configurations directly, which could lead to network connectivity problems or failure to boot after migration. To ensure a successful migration, you would likely need to refactor the VM's network configuration.
