Hi there,
Some of you might have noticed a new RHLS course in early access (EA) called DO328 - Building Resilient Microservices with Istio and Red Hat OpenShift Service Mesh. This course explores Red Hat Service Mesh, a service mesh solution that Red Hat offers for OpenShift.
Up to recently, DO328EA got lectures only. We’re proud to announce that DO328EA now includes a lab environment, guided exercises, and end-of-chapter labs where you can test your knowledge.
While the course is still in EA, most of the content is already there. This is a perfect chance for anyone with the RHLS subscription to influence the content of our upcoming training, and give us, the course developers, direct feedback on what should change and how. Just hit the feedback button and type to your heart’s content.
If you are an RHLS subscriber, and interested in Istio, doing canary releases, chaos testing, securing your service mesh traffic and much more, DO328EA is the place for you. We’d love to hear from you! Learn why and how Red Hat Service Mesh can help you, and help us in the process.
Hi, i'd like to test this course but lab dosen't work for me.
Hi Vale
Thanks for giving it a try!
What is the lab failing? What is the failure message?
Thanks in advance.
Jordi Sola
Hi Jordi,
i don't have an error message. When i click on 'Create' the 'Creating' and 'Starting' buttons appears, but no vms are created
Hi Vale
Can you give it another try? I just created a new lab environment first try.
I know we had issues with lab environments last week, but now it should be working fine.
Else, can you confirm you have used a supported browser (chrome, firefox)?

Hi Jordi,
all the other labs are working. I'm using the latest version of Firefox and Chrome.
This is what i'm getting from json:
I'm in EMEA
Hi
Yes, seems not to be working now :S
I'm escalating this to the platform team. I'll keep you posted.
Thanks!
Thank you very much Jordi!
Hi Vale
EMEA labs seem to be up again. I created my own lab without issues.
Seems that the EMEA cluster had an outage yesterday, that caused new labs not being created. It is fixed now.
Thanks for your patience.

Hi Jordi,
thank you very much, lab is working now!
