I am pleased to share that I have passed the Red Hat Certified Engineer exam EX294. This certification tested my ability to manage and automate multiple systems using Red Hat Ansible Engine and perform a wide range of system administration tasks efficiently across Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.
It was a challenging exam that required both theoretical understanding and practical experience. I prepared for it through online courses along with the practice tests provided by CertPrep.io, which were incredibly helpful in building my confidence and refining my technical skills.
Earning this certification has helped me strengthen my expertise in automation, scripting, and systems management, which are essential in today’s IT landscape.
Now that I have achieved the RHCE certification, I would appreciate suggestions on what steps I should take next to continue improving my skills and advancing my career in Red Hat technologies and automation.
@brainlee That is fantastic news! Congratulations on passing the Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) exam (EX294)! That is a significant achievement, let us know your areas of interest I would be happy to assist you with some great courses.
Congratulations @brainlee . As @Wasim_Raja mentioned knowing areas of interest would be helpful. However, since you mentioned Red Hat technologies and automation, some next logical steps would be the DO374 (AU374 - newest version) which is the Advanced Ansible course and the DO467 (AU467 - coming soon version) which focuses on AAP in the Enterprise and a lot with Automation Controller and components. Those would be next steps especially focusing on automation.
For RHEL and still a focus on automation a good next course would be the RH358 which is advanced system administration (by hand - think RHCSA type commands) with the addition of automating that so you would then do similar things with Ansible playbooks.
