Can I attempt Ex294 exam instead of Ex300 after having done my Ex200?

Jump to solution

Hi All!

Can someone please confirm if I can attempt Ex294 (based out of v8 RHEL) for my RHCE exam  instead of Ex300 (based out of v7 RHEL) ?

Note: I already completed my Ex200 (v7 RHEL)  in Nov-2019.  And now I'm also familiar with the difference between v7 & v8 RHEL.

So can I directly attempt Ex294?

In terms of certification - yes, if you have a valid & active RHCSA certification that will contribute to your RHCE status regardless of whether it was based in RHEL7 or RHEL8.

As for the content itself, ensure you're reviewed the EX294 exam objectives throughly ;-)
