Hi
I think mainly these are the two reasons a wrong Cert-ID is generated: When scheduling a Red Hat exam and selecting a date, users are typically asked to update their personal details, including their Cert-ID. However, it's common for users to overlook the update of their Cert-ID at this stage. As a result, if the Cert-ID isn't updated, a new Cert-ID may be automatically generated for subsequent exams.
Another scenario leading to the creation of a different Cert-ID occurs when a user books a new Red Hat exam using a separate Red Hat Network (RHN) account. Using multiple RHN accounts to book exams often results in the existence of multiple Cert-IDs for the same individual.
Therefore, it is crucial for users to keep track of which RHN account is associated with which Cert-ID to avoid any discrepancies in certification records
Users can request assistance in mapping their certification ID with the correct Red Hat Network (RHN) account, Users can submit a support request

So, usually the first one that you get becomes your cert Id. Due to some weird conditions, sometimes our cert team issues a different cert id on each exam pass. To link your new certification with your current one, please go to: https://rhtapps.redhat.com/certifications/add_certification_id
(Need to be logged in with your Red Hat ID)
To add your new credential to your existing cert id.
Hope that helps

Ricardo
