DO280 labs are not working for me.

Jump to solution

The lab start script is not working. It is stuck on "waiting for cluster". I have tried deleting and recreating the cluster multiple times. But the issue seems to be persisting.

I am not able to continue my study. Please do something, my humble request for you.

Hello Aadarsh Raj

The problem had been discussed some time here:

In short words:

Please, wait some minutes after creating lab environment. Unfortunatly, openshift ( master01 ) needs some time to be ready.

It is possible to:

ssh lab@utility

./wait.sh

to monitor process

Hello @Aadarsh_Raj !

The lab takes time to get ready before you can run any lab scripts. It generally takes 20 - 30 mins post the lab shows active status. As @shura mentioned : you can log into utility server as lab user ( using ssh from workstation ) and run "./wait.sh --wait"  to see if the cluster is fully up and ready or not. Do not run any lab script until it is ready completely.

If you run any lab script in between ( if the cluster is not ready yet ) - it messes the lab and in that case  you should delete the lab and rebuild a fresh lab. Then do again the same step to check the cluster readiness and once it is ready you can run the lab scripts.

If you still face the issue then please raise the support case and our team will help you.
