I'm starting my preparation for EX 436 (High availability Clustering exam). Can someone please confirm what RHEL version is the exam based on? Thanks.
The clustering exam is on RHEL 7.
Thanks. Can you share which particular version/release of RHEL 7? I hope it's not inappropriate to ask.
To do the ex436 exam is it sufficient to practice the review and configuring lab at the end of the rh-436 lab only?
any tips will be appreciated
Hello @snaidu !
I would recommend to learn and practice each and every lab and also pay attention to the theory / demo part for concepts. Also, you should refer to the helpful links given at the bottom of the chapter sections which enhances or supports the course material for a wider sense of understanding.
It is not sufficient to just practice the end of chapter labs and comprehensive reviews ( at the end of the course ) and pass the exam ( or for that matter gain any significant knowledge out of the course ).
This advise is true for every Red Hat training / course / certifications.
Thank you Sir @Chetan_Tiwary_ !! Have been through all the topics and labs deligently.
I was curious. The course is very intense.Trainer for RH-436 is amazing.
Was curious on how to go about the exam.
I did see some videos on how we need to approach the exam prep and exam.
Does the Exam testing Lab set up resemble the Classroom lab setup for RH-436 ? Or they are completely different?
@snaidu I cannot comment on exam environment or setup due to the NDA , however I can assure you that if you have familiarized yourself with the Red Hat training course materials and have done enough practice there - you won't get surprised looking at the exam setup.
