Hi guys,
I am using the DO188 course to prepare for the EX188 exam. I found that in the exam objectives, compose isn't mentioned, however is covered in the course. Is this something that could come up in the exam, even though it is not listed.
Do you guys believe that going through the labs for each section is sufficient to pass the exam? Any more tips?
Thanks!!

Hello @RamsagarT !
Yes , DO188 is the recommended course for EX188 and if you have gone through the course and have practiced the labs well independently - then I think one can definitely clear the exam.
Yes you should refer the objectives for your exam preparation - match the objectives with the course content and then practice the labs & learn the concepts !
All the best!

Hello @RamsagarT thanks for reaching out.
I see Chetan has covered some good points.
I would like to add my take as well.
Make sure to get a good grasp of each concept and practice the labs/exercises diligently and try to explore as many options as possible w.r.t commands(use man page or --help for help).
And the most important, make sure you align all the exam objectives with the content in the course and try not to miss anything.
Do let us know in case of any questions.
All the very best!!

Congratulations. How long did it take to prepare for the exam?.
I don not have any Red Hat Certification yet. I am confused between EX180 and EX188. Which one would be the suggested one for a beginner?.

The EX180 is no longer available.
The EX188 - in my opinion - can be handled easily. It's not that tough.
It could be cleared in a month if you are consistent or even less.

Thank you for taking time and suggesting.
My subscription is ending in 45 days and I want to take advantage of the free exam attempts.
I plan to do this in 21 days, if possible. I have the videos from Red Hat : DO188.
Does this exam have both lab and multiple choice questions?

The EX188 is hands-on (as every RH exam).
There are no questions.
Hint: Read carefully the "Global configuration" page (I don't remember the exact name) which explains you all the information you need to accomplish the exam.
