Can we get the sample question format.
Is this subjective or objective?
if we faile the example , can we do re-attempt ?
Hello @VijayKrishna
The study points/Objectives list will provide an overview of the exam. You may get tasks around those topics mentioned as Objectives.
Many books and other resources on system administration for Red Hat products are available. Red Hat does not endorse any of these materials as preparation guides for exams.
This exam is a performance-based evaluation of skills and knowledge required to configure and manage a cloud application platform. Candidates perform routine configuration and administrative tasks using Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform and are evaluated on whether they have met specific objective criteria. Performance-based testing means that candidates must perform tasks similar to what they perform on the job.

Hello,
I plan to take the EX280 exam. When I look at the objectives , I see:
But in the pdf document I have for D0280 , I do not see any lab on this. So how do I practice and what kind of questions are asked related to this topic?
Siri
Hello @VijayKrishna !
Thanks for reaching out ! There is no sample question format or a preliminary exam for EX280.
The course and practice labs to refer is DO280 ( https://www.redhat.com/en/services/training/Red-Hat-OpenShift-Administration-II-Operating-a-Producti... ).
Please write to training@redhat.com in case you wish to enrol for the training.
The exam ( EX280 https://www.redhat.com/en/services/training/red-hat-certified-openshift-administrator-exam?section=o... ) is a performance based test wherein you will have to configure the VM and troubleshoot - wherever required as per the question. Those configurations and resolutions must persist after reboot. There is no MCQs type questionnaire.
For the retake policy - please follow the instruction from Keerthy above.
Hi, I am planning to opt for EX280. I want to know whether they provide a command list or anything like that during an exam or do we need to completely memorize each and every command and its properties.
@rsheth No command list is provided. You will get relevant parts of official documentation like the ones here : https://docs.openshift.com/container-platform/4.14/welcome/index.html
You can get command help from the CLI :oc help to list all commands or run oc <command> --help to get additional details for a specific command.
like oc create --help
okay understood. Thanks a lot for the info. One more thing to ask is, Can you help me direct me to a place where I can get a few practice tests?
@rsheth We donot have practice tests as such for the exam. The recommended training course in DO280 for the exam and one can practice the exercises and labs in the course for the exam.
The practice should be based on the official exam objectives : https://www.redhat.com/en/services/training/red-hat-certified-openshift-administrator-exam?section=o...
If you are learning on your own in your own labs, please refer the exam objective to focus on the expected exam scenarios.
Hello Chetan,
I have one more question, during the exam can I use anything from CLI or web console whenever I want? Or that will be clearly written what to use in each question?
@rsheth yes you can use either CLI or Web console but you need to ensure the configurations are persistent.
