IT is an ever evolving space and the technology landscape is rapidly accelerating because of this change. That is why - to be successful you must be quick, nimble, and have a willingness to learn. This is especially true in the IT education market. There are many opportunities for the education market to help fill the skills gaps in today’s IT space, and that is why there is a criticality for IT educators to stay current on technology trends.
To help keep our Academy instructors trained, Red Hat partnered with 46 Red Hat Academy instructors, from 33 Red Hat Academies in Indonesia to conduct two Train the Trainer events in Jakarta, Indonesia. These instructors learned and attempted certification exam on Red Hat Certified System Administration topics.
Improved skills and knowledge of these instructors on Red Hat technologies increased their competency and also supported the ability to deliver Red Hat technology courses and certification in Indonesia. The hands-on, interactive approach to the course delivery was a demonstration of the ‘best in class’ training practices that are effective in the academic and commercial setting. These Train the Trainer sessions provided the participants with the principles necessary to enable course planning, and techniques to effectively deliver Red Hat training sessions.
We had great success with this effort with the overall feedback of the trainings receiving an excellent trainer score of 4.7/5 and NPS of 80. We would like to thank Mr. Rully Moulany, Red Hat Indonesia Country Manager for inaugurating the first TTT, Mr. David Wijaya - GLS Indonesia, Mr. Shubham Shrivastava - GLS Instructor and Ms. Gemma Sonaka - Multimatics Indonesia (GLS Partner) for helping us deliver these TTTs successfully.
Mr. Vikram Motiani, Director, Global Learning Services (APAC) said;
"Red Hat technologies such as Linux, cloud and middleware skills and knowledge have a great impact on getting students good jobs. Partnering with the RHAs in Indonesia, we are investing in the students and their instructors empowerment with training in Red Hat tech skills, so that Indonesia’s industries has the readily available resources in the workforce which will help them grow in the highly competitive scenario. Keeping in mind the fantastic response for such train-the-trainer programs in Indonesia, we will be replicating the same in other selected APAC countries as well."
