Facing Some Issues with Red Hat OpenShift 4.12 – Any Advice?
Hello everyone,
I hope you’re all doing well. I’m reaching out to the community because I'm currently facing some challenges with redhat , specifically with Red Hat OpenShift 4.12 . Here’s a brief overview of the issues I’m encountering:
-
Installation Problems:
- Struggling with the installation process on a few nodes.
- Encountering errors related to dependencies and package conflicts.
-
Configuration Difficulties:
- Issues with configuring networking settings for optimal performance.
- Challenges in setting up storage options to accommodate our data needs.
-
Performance Issues:
- Experiencing latency and slow response times during peak usage.
- Resource allocation seems inefficient, impacting application performance.
-
Integration Challenges:
- Difficulties integrating OpenShift with existing CI/CD pipelines.
- Issues with connecting to external databases and services.
-
Best Practices Needed:
- Seeking advice on best practices for managing and monitoring OpenShift clusters.
- Looking for recommendations on tools or add-ons that can enhance functionality.
If anyone here has experience with Red Hat OpenShift 4.12 or has faced similar issues, I would greatly appreciate any advice, troubleshooting tips, or best practices you could share. Your insights could be invaluable in helping me navigate these hurdles.
Thank you for your time and assistance!
Best regards,

@AlisaAine removed third party marketing links from your post! That is not allowed in the community. Also, your question does not have any details to check further about your issue.

Hello Johnatan,
As your description, it is an enterprise-level installation. It would be better to get in touch directly with the RH support rather than asking here. You might get all these issues resolved with them faster than seeking the answer in the learning community. I guess it would be the most efficient way to troubleshoot these issues.
RHLC first scope is not to be a Red Hat support forum. It is about learning or training.
