Failed RHCSA twice: it seems configuration not saved

I have been practicing redhat Linux in my virtual machine quite a lot and I am quite confident.

I felt really really bad to fail the exam twice.

It seems my node2 work was never saved in the previous exam and in this exam.
Actually I have booted the node 2 twice and I definitely saw the storage related configuration was there. But I lost all the scores for this area. Last time, I got the reply that " one of your system did not reboot to a usable state and could not be graded"

I do not know what happened. It must be a very small, but extremely critical point I have missed. This never happen in my local virtual machine environment.

Can anybody help and give your hint?

Many thanks!

to EX200 v9 and failed... they didn't grade node2 at all I think. I rebooted it after editing the fstab. and prior to that I used mount -av to make sure i dont get errors...

this is not cool at all..I spent more than 100 hours on labs and courses and I wass 200% sure I ll pass it with +270/300...

I think it's very interesting to see that many people here are reporting that they scored exactly 200 points, with 17% in the "operate" category. It's very odd and it suggests that either you're all making the same mistakes, or there really is something wrong with the scoring scripts at Red Hat.

Like @Shert , who made a topic just today.

But, comparing the scores from Shert and @cserban I do notice differences in the scoring percentages...

Hi again Tess,
to be precise I scored 25% on my first attempt and 17% on the second,
so my secondattempt was actually aligned with the one from @cserban

I appreciate your effort in traying to look at the issue with a neutral approach.

have a nice one

M.

Very interesting exam analysis here. Would i be correct in assuming that if you didn't do anything on the node2 that objectives: Configure Local Storage would be 0%?

I was failed my first attempt of Rhcsa examination , in my second attempt i have face some issues  . on that time i was informed regarding this issues to the invigilator through chat box they replyed he can't help during the examination , i have done all the tasks of node 1 and node2 after sumbitting examination i got a mail from redhat and i was failed and i got a score of 171 only minimum passing mark is 210 after that i mailed this issues to redhat team and they replied that "At the end of the exam prior to being graded all candidate systems are rebooted , unfortunately yours did not reboot to a usable state and could not be graded"

i haven't made any configuration changes in node 2 server then how do this became my responsibility
