If I use an external monitor, how many do I need to use webcams?

Jump to solution

I'd like to use an external monitor during Remote Exam. How many do I need to use webcams?

If I didn't use an external monitor, I use two webcams. One webcam is laptop's webcam, another webcam is external webcam.

I tried to do the compatibility test. The Compatibility test shows me all green by one external webcam. This result is much for Remote Exam, right?

If you have two cameras, both can be used and will be used simultaneously during the exam. This is useful if, for any reason, one of them does not have autofocus features.

At any rate, if you want to use an external monitor, your setup needs to mimick a "desktop" PC usage, ie: your laptop screen should be closed, and you should be using an external keyboard and mouse.
