Look back at your 2023 resolution to Upskill yourself - were you able to meet your own targets?

Its the last month of the year and many of us would have resolved to upskill ourselves technically / professionally - let us know if:

1. you were able to dedicate time to meet your own targets

2. its a work in progress and will complete by the end of the month or

3. it will get carried over to next year?

Greetings, that was great year for me !
DONE:
1. I graduated from computer engineering.
2. Right after i started my professional carreer as SRE at Turk Telekom.

ONGOING:
- I'm planning to take RHCSA in december 2023. That will be one of first of my proffessional certificates.

IN 6 MONTHS GOALS:
- Currently i'm following "Manage Linux at enterprise scale" skills path
  that means I'll take :
     - RHCE and "EX467 - Red Hat Certified Specialist in Managing Automation with Ansible Automation Platform"

Untill 2024 Red Hat Certified Architect cert is what i aim for because I expect tofeel satisfied when i pass thoose exam thresholds!

Any suggestions? Do you think theese goals reasonable? Please let me know.

My best regards, -Bahadir

My only suggestion is to look at the technologies currently used in your work environment, and use those to guide you on what certifications to pursue. Additionally, look at the technology roadmap for your organization and repeat the process, e.g. if they are not currently using containers or OpenShift, but they are looking to move that way, those certifications should be on your radar. Wishing you all the best!
