Hi
Internal camera is not required for the exam. The external camera is. The proctors need to have a side view like this:
How to position an external webcam - https://learn.redhat.com/t5/Certification-Resources/How-to-position-an-external-camera-for-a-Red-Hat...
You can take the exam with the external camera only.
I hope it helps.

Hello Kaddyja,

An external camera will absolutely be enough for the exam.
In fact, you'll be doing yourself a favor by using an external
camera.  When it's time to do the room scan, it will be a lot
more convenient for you to move the camera versus moving
the entire laptop.

Much success to you on your exam attempt!!!

The internal camera is allowed for Preliminary exams only. The user will never do a room scan holding the laptop in his hands during the EX (certifications) exams. The Proctors would not let him start the exam without an external camera - to be precise.
