Hi.
I have passed 9 Red Hat certifications. In every exam result email, you can read "Show the world you are skilled, proven, and ready. Please visit the Red Hat Certified Professional Store at http://redhat.brandfuel.com to purchase logo merchandise available only to Red Hat Certified Professionals."
I tried to purchase a product from the mentioned store, but I was disappointed. No matter which product I selected, the message "We're sorry, this item is not available. Go back to the item page" appeared. I sent an email to customerservice@brandfuel.com and received a response: "We sincerely apologize about stock levels; however, at this time, Red Hat doesn't have any plans to restock or add any new items."
My question to Red Hat: why do you advertise a store in the exam results email where it's not possible to buy a single product?
Hello,
Me, I can't even access their home page (https://redhat.brandfuel.com/) from my Mozilla Firefox 112.0.1 (64-bit) on my Fedora 36 laptop.
I receive back an error page:
Secure Connection Failed
An error occurred during a connection to redhat.brandfuel.com. The peer used an unsupported combination of signature and hash algorithm.
Error code: SSL_ERROR_UNSUPPORTED_SIGNATURE_ALGORITHM
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.
As it is supposed to be a purchase site on which you might expose your bank account details, I do not even want to try to ease my Firefox settings to allow those unsupported sugnature algorithm.
I think that they will have to fix that along side with their stock issue.

Tshimanga
