Please cast a vote for this year's Women in Open Source Awards. There are two categories: the Community Award and the Academic Award. Sponsored by Red Hat and recognized at Red Hat Summit, all of these nominated women are doing fantastic things and deserve the simple thank you and support that your vote shows.
Never heard of these women? No problem! Read the description and see if one of their projects is known to you or of interest to you and support that person! The competition to become one of the finalists is stiff so I already know they are all deserving. Be sure to vote in BOTH categories!
Anyone can vote! No login required. They do ask for an email but only for a one vote per email restriction. I have never gotten extra email from voting for this award. You do not need to be a contributor and the only technical skill required is in navigating a web page! Spread the word. Be an Ally!
Cast votes by Feb 25th! Here is what Red Hat says at the site:
Our judges narrowed down the 2019 Women in Open Source Award nominations to 10 outstanding finalists. With your help, we’ll recognize 2 women for their contributions at Red Hat® Summit in May.
