Problem with RHCSA online lab machines (Probing EDD)

Hi,

I am practicing for my upcoming RHCSA exam, however, I noticed that sometimes, after finishing a lab and rebooting the machine, it is stuck at the following message "probing edd (edd=off to disable)... ok".

This happened multiple times now, specially after doing network lab using nmcli and advanced storage lab using startis and vdo.

I have no idea how to solve that, it is just stuck, I tried setting edd=off in grub menu but that didn't help and I'm afraid the same will happen during the exam.

Any idea what this is all about ?

Now the whole Lab Environment (RH199) is down (RH199) :-(

Edit: Engaged Red Hat Training support.

" We would like to inform that we had applied some solutions on OCP Shared Cluster, Hence request you to re-provision once and check, it should work fine after re-provisioning. "

Hosts still hang for several minutes on 'Probing EDD', but they do eventually come up now.

I had the same problem. Then I noticed this in the topic Resetting the Root Password:

NOTE

Prebuilt images may place multiple console= arguments to the kernel to support a wide array of implementation scenarios. Those console= arguments indicate the devices to use for console output. The caveat with rd.break is that even though the system sends the kernel messages to all the consoles, the prompt ultimately uses whichever console is given last. If you do not get your prompt, you may want to temporarily reorder the console= arguments when you edit the kernel command line from the boot loader.

I tried reordering the two console= parameters, but I still got the same problem. Only @chetan_tiwary's solution worked for me.
