Recently I just purchased Learning Subscription Standard by myself.
After I see that Red Hat Certified Architect had divided in two path ? They are Infrastructure and Application.
I had interest in Application Path so it mean that I must for passing as Red Hat Certified Microservice Developer that taking JAVA EE and Microservices Exam (2 Exams). then I just select any 5 of this list right ?
It seem like many exam already retired and when I go to https://www.redhat.com/en/services/certification/rhca Many of Exam topic are retired too. So just curious about this does it have any updated about Red Hat Certified ARchitect path ?
To attain RHCA status, an RHCEMD or RHCJD must pass at least 5 of the following exams and keep the associated certifications current: EX180 – Red Hat Certified Specialist in Containers and Kubernetes exam EX240 –Red Hat Certified Specialist in API Management EX248 – Red Hat Certified Specialist in Enterprise Application Server Administration exam EX276 – Red Hat Certified Specialist in Containerized Application Development exam (Retired) EX280 – Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration exam EX288 –Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Application Development exam EX405 – Red Hat Certified Specialist in Configuration Management EX407 – Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation exam EX421 – Red Hat Certified Specialist in Camel Development exam EX427 – Red Hat Certified Specialist in Business Process Design exam EX440 – Red Hat Certified Specialist in Messaging Administration exam EX453 – Red Hat Certified Specialist in Fast-Cache Application Development exam EX465 – Red Hat Certified Specialist in Business Rules exam EX288 – Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Application Development exam
Hi @NaomiLin
I'm also interested in same track as mentioned in your comment. The 2 exams that are mandatory are:
1)Exam: Red Hat Certified Enterprise Application Developer exam(EX183), course that can be used for preparation in RHLS Red Hat Application Development I: Programming in Java EE but as far i know the content is good but its old and its for JavaEE7, so does this really make any sense to do certification EX183?
2) Exam:Red Hat Certified Cloud-native Developer Exam (EX378), course that can be used for preparation in RHLS DO378 - Red Hat Cloud-native Microservices Development with Quarkus.
Apart from above 2 mentioned certification, we need to do additional 5 certification as per the list shared. Hope you also got the same understanding as mine.
Thanks
Red Hat
