In my opinion, the minimal requiremens for good exam experience are:
Upload 10Mbps or more
Download 10Mbps or more
Latency 20ms or less
Jitter 20ms or less

My exam is scheduled for day after tomorrow.

The FAQ says, "Choose a quiet, private location where you will not be disturbed for the duration of the exam. Your desk should be clear of everything except your exam hardware. Unplug and turn off any additional monitors, displays, computers, or other hardware in your workspace. Remove any pictures, whiteboards, or items on the wall with writing on them. The proctor will inspect your workspace prior to the start of the exam and you will be asked to remove any items that do not pass the room scan. "

The room I would like to use is mostly empty with the exception of a wall of board games. Emptying the shelves and putting them back later would be a chore. The other walls in the room are empty and I can face away from the shelves. Will the games be an issue?

Picture of shelves is here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/i8Y9CmMDUkRU6ceP7

When I took my exam, I had a note from one of my kids on a whiteboard on the wall that I didn't want to erase.  I was allowed to tape some blank pieces of paper over it so that it wasn't visible.  You might be able to do something similar if they have a problem, but they didn't object to the books on my bookshelf that wasn't in reach, so as long as the wall of games is far enough away that you can't access them it might be OK as well.

Hi Vidya
Red Hat team not being available?
They are available 24/5 (workdays non-stop) on the chat https://red.ht/remote-exam-chat
It looks the Fedora 33 you are booting for the exam from the USB stick does not have drivers for your sound card. This is an SW issue. Your HW is ok,
You may try connecting a USB headset or mic. Also, some webcams have a built-in mic. Speakers are not needed, the mic is mandatory. Red Hat needs to hear your room.
See the sound settings, click on the drop-down menu to see what mic input is available. Adjust the mic volume slider to have the red indicators flashing as you speak.
I hope this helps.

Hello, I arrived late for the exam because of the USB key. I used Fedora images writer no way to boot on an UEFI BIOS (I tested with an very old laptop and the image has booted). Is this normal? Is it necessary to activate or deactivate options in the bios (legacy mode, secure boot off,...)

I am unable to get the microphone on my Thinkpad P1 Gen3 to work. It detects the internal microphone but no sound it being recorded from it, and I have set the volume to maximum in the settings. I have tried with an external wired headset and that doesn't work either. I have tried to boot from another USB device, same result. My exam is tomorrow and I am not passing the compatibility test.

I coudn’t get past the log in screen.
I used the latest ISO and also a 2020 version.

The latest iso is stuck after accepting the privacy statement. “Waiting on consent.trustarc.com”

The old iso is stuck connecting to id.redhat.com

I tried multiple times, keep getting stuck at log in.

Is the environment down?
I’m sure it’s not my computer as I already used this in two previous exams.
Network looks fine as well.

It is not yet. I had that problem a couple of days ago as well. It is an issue at RH's end. I suggest rebooting or rescheduling if this happens again.
