As posted elsewhere, multiple people (including myself) are unable to boot from the current live ISO:
ERROR 36: REBUILD USB DRIVE
(and yes, I disabled Secure Boot in BIOS)
I've found it noted in this and another thread (I think many pages back in this one), that the 2020-08 version of the ISO works:
https://static.redhat.com/downloads/training-certification/rhrexboot-2020-08.iso
(Edit: I've since confirmed it does)
Is it supported to use this version of the ISO still? I'd expect not, right?
Can we get an official statement on how to get around this?
I have corporate windows pc which is not letting me format my USB and on the personel one iso is not working it less then 24 hours for exam can i cancel exam ?
Hi all,
Is it allowed to use silicon earplugs during the exam? My exam room is quiet, but it's not soundproof to any noise coming downstairs. Thank you!
Hi
The exam will require an external monitor and a wired keyboard and mouse, as I am taking it from my room, which is quite congested. I would appreciate your advice.
Hi,
My compatiability test fails with for streaming. It passed a few days back but when rerun the test today it fails. My exam is scheduled in less than 24 hours and hence unable to cancel the exam.Chat support is of no use as it is always busy and gets disconnected after some time.

Can anyone from Redhat/member help ?
Thanks,

If you have a time sensitive question I'd recommend just emailing certification-team@redhat.com. It seems they've given up on monitoring this thread... I got sort of an answer re: the Error 36, not sure if I am allowed to post it here.
Hi
I have the EX200 Certification Exam soon. it is Remote, and I was sent an iso image I need to burn to a USB Drive and boot with it for the exam. I was told to download and use the Fedora Media Writer to burn the iso image. I did burn the image and, according to Fedora Media Writer, it went fine. But I can't boot with the USB Drive. When I reboot my laptop, the option to boot from my USB Drive shows up, I select it, but nothing happens, everytime I select it, it immediately comes back to the Menu of bootable media prompting me to choose one. Please advise. I've tried with several other USB Drives with same results.
thanks in Advance
If it can't boot, you may want to try to mount the USB drive to see if there is even a file system. Otherwise, try using the dd command method instead of the media writer to write the image into the USB drive.
Hi @Lisette ,
You might also want to try using the older image version, which is secure boot compliant.
Regards,
I made the bootable USB using the given iso file but when I go to boot it, it doesn't work. It get a black scrren with "grub>" on it. Would like some help on this. Have my exam tomorrow.
