RHCE or EX374

Hello community

I'm really interested in pursuing an Ansible certification to deepen my expertise in automation and orchestration.

I don't have RHCSA certification ; so can i pass RHCE ? what's course can i use it ?  if you recommand the course of RedHat , if there’s any chance of receiving a discount or promotional pricing ?

Hi, 

From what I recall, you can't go straight forward to the RHCE without having the RHCSA.

I'd suggest to go first to the RHCSA, then RHCE and then EX374.

All these exams should not been that hard to achieve. Of course, it also depends on your personal expertise and experience on such products as well.

Regarding the training, since you will need to take multiple courses, purchasing a RHLS would make more sense rather than purchasing the specific courses. RHLS bundle includes all the RH course currently available, so you can choose the one you think fits the best. 

About the discount, I really have no idea, but I don't think so

Hello @youssef-chtouro as @rhnoname mentioned it rightly, you can write and pass RHCE ( EX294 ) directly without RHCSA but do note that you will not be able to download/ get the RHCE certificate unless you have an active RHCSA.

For a basic learning in ansible automation platform  - RHCE course ( RH294 ) is highly recommended and popular and if you are already aware of the course content topics then you can move to the higher level specialist course like DO374 with exam EX374.

I also agree with @rhnoname that for multiple courses and exam - it is better and efficient to have a RHLS subscription which will give you multiple course access and 5 individual exams along with 1 free retake for each exam.
