RHCSA remote exam question about room from which exam will be taken

Jump to solution

Hello,

I have a somewhat unusual situation. I would like to take the RHCSA EX200 exam remotely from my flat. The problem is that none of the rooms in my flat have doors. As a solution, I have covered the doorless spaces with a black, non-transparent sheet. I have attached a photo showing how it looks.

Could you please confirm if this setup is acceptable for the remote exam? Do I need to inform someone to gain permission for this?

The issue is that I would like to take the exam within the next two weeks, but my new doors will not be ready for another two months. I hope I don't have to wait that long.

The room, with the doors covered like this, should be fine.
The requirements say something about privacy (which will be achieved by the nontransparent cover) and quietness (which means there will be no noise and sounds other than you typing on the keyboard and breathing). So I would not worry about it.
BTW, nice apartment... Don't forget to make enough CAT 5e LAN wall sockets
