Hello, I am new to this community as well as being new to Red Hat and Linux in general. I have undertaken both the RH124 and RH134 over the past 2 months. Whilst my knowledge base of RHEL has vastly improved and I have learnt a great deal, I do not believe I am anyway near ready to undertake the RHCSA Certification Exam. Any advice and guidance exam preparation and committing the command line functions to memory would be much appreciated. I am mainly having difficulty with the more complex command line functions such as script writing, running and managment of containers, managing network attached storage with NFS and firewall functions.

The courses RH124 & RH134 is a very good recommended source for the RHCSA EX200 exam. It is ok to be a liitle bit skeptical / nervous about one's own preparation before actual exam - trust me it happes with everyone  

If you want - there is a preliminary exam PE124 ( https://www.redhat.com/en/services/training/pe124-preliminary-exam-red-hat-system-administration-I )   which you can take to assess your preparation. This exam is not an actual EX200 certification but a preliminary exam ( without any certification ) for practice. This will give you fair idea about exam and your preparedness and will help in enhancing your confidence. 

Post that - you can focus on the real EX200 exam. For that always refer the official objectives for preparing : https://www.redhat.com/en/services/training/ex200-red-hat-certified-system-administrator-rhcsa-exam?... . 

Locate the respective topics and practice till you are confident about them.

Read the instructions carefully and understand the requirements of the question.

Remember not to do any spelling mistakes and the configuration must persist after reboot !

Try to do the labs at the end of every chapter ( that has grading ) independently and see what sort of grading is happening - when the grading is all pass and when it is a fail. Work on those scenarios, troubleshoot the errors yourself , try to read the logs for a configuration or a service issue and use man pages wherever necessary.

Thank you all for the great advice and the kind words of encouragement. This has been heartening as I have gone back over the comprehensive reviews for both RH124 and RH134 and have been able to understand where the knowledge deficiencies are. So as all of you have advised me, it is now a matter of regular revision and experience.
