I wanted to work in IT. I am a full stack developer now.

I want to do SDE role but currently working as a DevOps Engineer.

I wanted to be a chef - creating food that brings people together. 

Nowadays, besides entertaining my family and friends with delicious meals, I tend to design and develop solutions for the Red Hat Learning Platforms and beyond.

As a child, always I have an interest on driving and vehicles. Don't know the reason behind that but my passion was to become a driver. Unfortunately I am a techie now.

Believe it or not I wanted to be a blacksmith or farrier. I grew up in the country, on a vineyard, and surrounded by horses and cattle. I never got to be a farrier, however; the closest I come now is cleaning my own horses' feet. Now I'm a technical editor for Red Hat Training. I got into software documentation in my final year at uni and have been doing it for 25 years.

When I was a child, I wanted to be a nun. Then, I went to school and after high school, I wanted to be an engineer because I really enjoyed and excelled in Math. But I went to college and took chemistry because my Dad wanted me to take that course. I went as far as I could in chemistry, even getting a PhD in that area. I eventually ended up working as a software developer. It was like coming out of the closet. Lol.

As a kid, I wanted to have a creative job: some days a singer, other days a movie director. I found creativity in software engineering, and then switched to engineering management, which is what I do now!

As a young boy, I wanted to join the armed forces in any capacity. Made a few attempts and learnt that I was unfit because of a minor but permanent defect in my legs. I graduated as a Mechanical engineer. However, like most other engineers from my generation, I ended up in the IT industry and never thought about going back to my core field. Have had my fears towards coding and felt safe wokring on the infrastructure side of things not knowing the safety wont last for long. Now I continue to work as an infrastructure architect scrambling and learning how to script and code. Thanks to the internet world we live in, my aspiration gets altered every moment of life. Granted a wish, i would like to own a farm and live closer to nature and with lot of people around me.
