Red Hat Certified Professional Access

Jump to solution

Since getting the RHCP status verified and having that badge added to my profile, I have not yet noticed any additional access to discussions/materials that I didn't have before. Is this a work in progess or am I overlooking something?
Thanks in advance!

EDIT: I'm referring to the "Complete your profile in the Red Hat Learning Community to earn special badges, unlock additional permissions and gain access to exclusive areas and discussion boards throughout the community!" part in the Training Profile settings page.

@macplox great question - when verifying your RHCP status in the Red Hat Learning Community a few actions occur:

  • The RHCP designation icon is added to your profile
  • You rank up two levels to "Flight Engineer"
  • Access is granted to the private "Red Hat Certified Professional" discussion board under the "Discussions" tab.

We have an additional Red Hat Certified Professional badge currently in development, and we are working on making the RHCP area in the community more robust in the future. If you have thoughts on the RHCP experience in RHLC, please add this to the private RHCP board you have access to, thanks!

The Red Hat Certified Professional board is officially live and configured under the "Discussions" drop down in the main navigation menu! If you are a Red Hat Certified Professional, you must verify your certification id in your Red Hat Training profile here.

@Deanna I have RHCP badge but I don't have access to "Red Hat Certified Professional" discussion board under "discussions" tab. Am I doing something wrong?

@sbulav. I'm not seeing it either, at least not in the mobile viewport. I'm sure it'll show up and work fine once it's ready.
