Hi!
Anyone here had success with AMD processor ?
In below pdf, Red Hat says many intel ... what about AMD ?
System requirements
- Computer: You will need a computer with a single active monitor. Red Hat supports
many Intel-compatible X86_64-bit architecture computers.

When I tried compatibility test on my AMD Laptop, even after 1 hours it just hangs at 100%, same USB stick I tried on intel machine it works! unfortunately intel machine is having some other problem, so I can't use for exams.
Please refer my post for more details.

Its tested on below hardware with latest available "rhrexboot-2023-06.iso". When we can expect new release ?

Hi,
I have an AMD Ryzen 5600x CPU on my desktop computer and an Nvidia RTX 3060 TI GPU from Gigabyte.
A year ago I was booting an image on Windows 10 using Fedora Media Writer and Rufus having secure boot disabled. I was using rhrexboot version v20220717 at the time. Similar to what @rhel_since_3 written, after loading up to 100% of the exam system, I was getting a black screen and could not go any further.
Then, I tried running the environment on a laptop with an Intel 5200U having an integrated graphics card and a GTX 940 card. Using this device, I was able to proceed with the exam.
Based on what @PetrCihlar wrote about the new ISO version, I was able to download version v20230630 and try to run it on the desktop PC. Again, after loading to 100% the loading screen, I got a black screen and could not go any further with the configuration. Also, I used Fedora Media Writer and Rufus. I spoke to a friend who has the same AMD processor. Using BalenaEtcher, we were able to load the rhrexboot ISO image to a flash drive.
On his computer the environment setup was successful, on mine there was still a black screen. I noticed that on his computer the monitor was connected to the PC via HDMI, on mine via DisplayPort. I figured it was worth to check this clue as last-ditch effort.
It turned out that after loading rhrexboot to 100% with the monitor connected on DisplayPort, the image source changed and seeing the further configuration step telling me to unplug the bootable USB was only possible when monitor was connected via HDMI to the GPU. The next configuration steps and compatibility check were successful and I can take the exam using a desktop PC with a CPU from AMD and an Nvidia GPU.
In summary
If you have a monitor connected via DisplayPort to the GPU and after booting to 100% of the system you get a black screen, try repeating the process with the monitor connected to the GPU only via HDMI cable.
The ISOs you used were build on the same Fedora version in my opinion, therefore the issue persists. You boot to 100% and than get stuck. You yourself confirme you managed to boot further after changing the video card from discrete video cart to the integrated one.
Yes, changing the way the monitor is connected (hdmi, display port, d-sup) may help. But it is all because of the video card compatibility. There is nothing else in it.
